Pharmacists from across the province gathered in Saint John on Saturday to pay tribute to the best and brightest in their profession.
The New Brunswick Pharmacists' Association honoured Sally Ginson and Krista Orchard with New Practitioner Awards on Saturday at their Awards Gala held as part of the New Brunswick Pharmacy Conference. This award is presented to a new pharmacist (five years or less since graduation) for exceptional service through innovation or contributions to his/her community.
The New Brunswick Pharmacy Conference was held at the Hilton Trade & Convention Centre from Friday, May 31, through Sunday, June 2, 2002. The conference included the annual general meetings of the New Brunswick Pharmacists’ Association, the NB Chapter of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists and the New Brunswick Pharmaceutical Society, professional development sessions and a keynote address by Dr. Gilles Lapointe on "Believing in Your Own Strengths."
