Six Pharmacist Care Clinics around the province took part in a pilot project to increase access to primary health care for New Brunswickers. Pharmacists in these clinics can assess and prescribe for strep throat (Group A strep) and provide chronic disease management for diabetes, asthma, cardiovascular disease, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
