Pharmacists from across the province gathered in Moncton on Saturday to pay tribute to the best and brightest in their profession.
The New Brunswick Pharmacists' Association honoured Léonel Albert with the New Practitioner Award at their Awards Gala held as part of the New Brunswick Pharmacy Conference. This award is presented to a new pharmacist (five years or less since graduation) for exceptional service through innovation or contributions to his/her community.
The New Brunswick Pharmacy Conference was held at the Delta Beausejour from Friday, May 28, through Sunday, May 30, 2004. The conference included the annual general meetings of the New Brunswick Pharmacists’ Association, the NB Chapter of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists and the New Brunswick Pharmaceutical Society, professional development sessions and a keynote address by pharmacist and author Ken Burns.
